Our scooter history dates back to... well, I think I perhaps could have been born on one.  With a father who owns, restores, and tinkers with an extensive collection of Cushman Motor Scooters, I was unable to escape them as a youngster.  While other kids went to Disney World, my summer vacations were spent attending the Vintage Bike Meet in Portland, Indiana.  Ah, the memories.

Fast forward to 2007 and the ever rising gas prices (YUCK). In protest of big oil companies, my husband and I picked up a fine scooter and the fun memories from childhood have continued. Our pocketbooks certainly appreciated the fewer and less painful trips to the gas pump and our conscience was eased by knowing we were making a small contribution to a greener tomorrow.
